
Classic Mint Julep
ESSENTIALS
- 3 fresh mint leaves
- 1 ounce Mint Simple Syrup
- Crushed ice
- 2 ounces of Heaven Hill Bourbon
- 1 fresh mint sprig
- Powdered sugar (optional)
- Berries for garnish (optional)
MIX IT UP
- Place mint leaves and Mint Simple Syrup in a chilled julep cup. Gently press leaves against cup with back of spoon to release flavors.
- Pack cup tightly with crushed ice; pour bourbon over ice.
- Insert straw, place mint sprig directly next to straw, and serve immediately.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and top with garnish, if desired.

Classic Brown Derby
ESSENTIALS
- 2 ounce Jim Beam Bourbon
- 1 ounce grapefruit juice
- ½ ounce honey syrup
- Grapefruit peel for garnish (optional)
MIX IT UP
- Add all ingredients to your shaker with ice.
- Shake.
- Pour into your glass.
- Garnish decoratively with grapefruit peel.

Classic Old Fashioned
ESSENTIALS
- 1⁄2 tsp Sugar
- 3 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 ounce Water
- 2 ounces Old Forester Bourbon
- Orange peel
MIX IT UP
- Add the sugar, bitters and water into a rocks glass, and stir until sugar is nearly dissolved.
- Fill the glass with large ice cubes, add the bourbon, and gently stir to combine the flavors.
- Pinch the orange twist over the glass, then drop in.

Classic Manhattan
ESSENTIALS
- 2 ounces Woodford Reserve Bourbon
- 1 ounce sweet vermouth
- 2 to 3 dashes Angostura Bitters
- Maraschino cherries for garnish
MIX IT UP
- Fill a mixing glass or cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add whiskey, sweet vermouth and bitters.
- Stir for 90 seconds.
- Strain into a martini glass
- Garnish with maraschino cherries.

Highball
ESSENTIALS
- 2 ounces whiskey
- 6 ounces ginger ale, or soda
MIX IT UP
- Gather the ingredients.
- Fill a highball glass with ice.
- Pour the whiskey into the glass.
- Top with ginger ale.
