One of the best days for myself and my sons on the Bourbon trail. We had the amazing fortune of having the owner, Bob, take us everywhere and more. Very knowledgeable, personable and just plain FUN, Bob was the quintessential host and partner for this incredible tour experience. He took us places that are well known, and some not-so-well-known that offered very different and enjoyable experiences (such as Glenn's Creek and Whiskey Thief).


Can't thank Bob and Bourbon Hall Tours enough for helping make this Father/sons trip an even more memorable occasion.

Best ever! From my first contact with Mr. Bob Oats to the day of our tour….hands down best customer service ever. Bob took time to answer every question and help customize our day. So personable and helped create an amazing tour to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday! Now let’s talk about the day of!!! Jerry was our tour guide. He was AMAZING! So punctual. So personable. He made sure we had what we needed and we were having fun. Gave some history along the way and kept us on track. I could not have asked for a better day. I could go on and on. Can’t wait to come back and give Bourbon Hall some more business!!!

My friend booked our tour only a few weeks ahead of our scheduled visit to Louisville. We did visits to the east Trail distilleries, many of which were smaller venues. All were very interesting and entertaining. Amber and Bob were very easy to work with giving excellent guidance and recommendations along the way. They even recommended the best local restaurants for our stay. Jerry King was our tour guide and driver. He was fantastic! Funny, knowledgeable (especially with sports) and very personable! Always felt safe with his driving and he modified our tour slightly to accommodate our request to stop and see one of the larger distillers store even though we didn’t have a tour or tasting scheduled. He made it fun and very enjoyable for our small group of 4. Highly recommend working with them to book your tour!!

Bourbon Hall Tours was amazing and easy to work with. I first spoke with Bob, the owner, about 2 months ahead of our tour. He listened to what we were hoping to do and see. After this, he did an itinerary for us, was so easy for our group of 9. Bob picked us up right on time (a big plus) and started our fun. He had coolers already filled with ice and water, the mini bus was very clean and ready to go. He took us to smaller distilleries (Glenn's Creek-a do not miss with Dave, the owner, was fantastic). Then went to Castle & Key (another great one) for lunch and shopping. Then on to a couple large distilleries, and then to Bluegrass for tastings and a tour (also highly recommend). After that we went to Whiskey Thief (a great last stop) to finish off the day. Bob was very informative on the entire trip (great drive through was a horse farm). Bob certainly did like to have fun and let us do so as well. I highly recommend him and his company without reservation.

We booked a Bourbon Hall tour in June! It was fantastic. We visited Castle & Key (a must see), Four Roses, Buffalo Trace (a quick stop/shop) and ended at Whiskey Thieving which was the highlight of the trip. A great place to unwind at the end of a busy day. Our driver was unbelievably accommodating. We were able to take some backroads to see Kentucky countryside. It was breathtaking. I recommend booking with Bourbon Hall because they take the time to make sure you have a memorable experience. The price is fair too. We got quotes from other company’s that came in higher but did not offer the personal touches that Bourbon Hall does.

Second Bourbon tour for us! We used Bourbon Hall Tours both times. This time we visited 4 distilleries with a nice variety of "entertainment." Traditional tours and tastings, one thieving experience, a visit to Castle and Key and one tasting with the master distiller! Bob was our driver and he was fantastic! We were fortunate enough to have two wonderful experiences and will definitely return!

From start to finish, Bob and his team provided excellent care and attention. Within hours of my initial web request, Bob called me to discuss my groups ideas, wants, and expectations. He took that discussion/information and went to work. His team, that same day, had a proposed itinerary and quote for our small group in my inbox. Please be aware we visited in January, a known slower time for tours, but nonetheless BHT&T exceeded our expectations through fast efficient planning and communication.

The day prior to tour, we received a text confirming pickup time, location, driver and vehicle information. Bob even decided he was going to be our guide that day, arrived early in a very nice and clean Lincoln Navigator. We visited Woodford Reserve, the Stave for lunch (lunch not included), Buffalo Trace, Three Boys Farm, Jeptha Creed and concluded the day at Justins’ House of Bourbon. Bob was a great guide offering plenty of knowledge about the area, industry and bourbon. I highly recommend giving Bourbon Hall Tours and Tastings a chance to show you how great of an experience/time you can have.

Birthday weekend included a fun filled tour with Bob as our guide. TREMENDOUS EXPERIENCE!!!! Can't wait to do it again. Visited Ky Artisan, Buffalo Trace, and Castle and Key. Bob was a wonderful guide and knows bourbon and KY! Lunch at Stave was a delight!

First, we could not have done this without the help of Bob and Amber at Bourbon Hall Tours. They planned a full day and even added a stop "on the fly".

Our driver for the day was Mr. Vic and we could have asked for a better guide. He was knowledgeable and made the trip most enjoyable. He made sure we stayed on schedule and as a result, we were able to get in a stop at the Woodford Distillery.

We had a full day and learned much on the tour. If you are thinking about making a trip on the Bourbon Trail, you should give these guys a call.

NOTE: The Wild Turkey tour was great and most informative. If you get a chance to add this to your tour it is not to be missed. The visitor center is brand new and the views on the back deck are not to be missed.

By far one of the best tours ever. Our guide, Vic could not have been more hospitable and even got lunch for us while we shopped to insure we stayed on schedule. Had a great time for Fathers Day celebrating my husband! Went to 3 different distilleries and had lunch at the Brown Barrel which was awesome. Luanne, our driver was the sweetest and had the car stocked with goodies, water and umbrellas for us. Highly recommend this company!!

What a wonderful, fun and educational experience touring with Bourbon Hall. Our driver Robert made the trip exceptionally a great day with his knowledge of the bourbons and the distilleries available in the area. The van was impeccably clean and comfortable to accommodate a large group. Robert was witty and funny which added to the delight of the day. We went to Four Roses, Wild Turkey and Jeptha Creed, all of which were unique so our educational tour was different at each location which added to the interest of the entire day. Everyone on board were fun and friendly to tour with. I will definitely be booking more tours with Bourbon Hall Tours. This is also a wonderful activity for out- of- towners that haven't seen the beautiful Kentucky countryside.

We decided to give my husband a bourbon hall tour for a special birthday. I was so extremely impressed with EVERYTHING about bourbon hall tours. I found them on the internet and gave them a call. From the very first phone call, through booking, and then the tour it was the best customer service I have ever encountered. We had 7 people on our tour. We booked later then we should have to get into some of the big name distilleries. I was a little bummed then but with the expertise that Bourbon Hall tours shared we are soooooo happy we went to some of the smaller distilleries. Glenn's Creek Distillery was small and it was by far our favorite. We wouldn't have selected it on our own but with the help of Bourbon Hall Tours we thankfully did. Our driver John was absolutely the best. He was so kind and caring and did everything he could possibly do to make our trip amazing. He even was able to take us back to the one distillery as we wanted to make another purchase. I was asking him about the horses so he altered our route a little so we could see one of the horse farms.

We will go back and will DEFINITELY book with Bourbon Hall Tours
